​​​​​I'm Dr. David, a parent of five amazing teens with ADHD. My personal journey, combined with my doctoral degree in education and certifications in trauma-informed practice and ADHD education, fuels my passion for empowering families like yours.

My journey into ADHD parent coaching began at home, amidst the beautiful chaos of raising five teens with ADHD alongside my incredible wife. I vividly remember the early days – the whirlwind of emotions, the countless doctor and therapy appointments, and the constant search for strategies that actually worked. There were tears, frustrations, and a deep yearning for a different way.

Over time, amidst the homework struggles, sensory meltdowns, and the juggling act of busy schedules, I realized something profound. Focusing solely on the challenges wasn't serving us. We needed to shift our perspective and recognize the incredible strengths and resilience within our family.

That's when I discovered the power of strengths-based coaching. Through extensive research and professional development, including earning my doctorate in education and certifications in trauma-informed practice and ADHD education, I developed the Thriving Resilience Treehouse Model and my six-step coaching blueprint. These frameworks are the foundation of my work, guiding families like yours toward creating a home filled with love, understanding, and genuine connection.

This comprehensive program provides a structured yet flexible journey designed to empower you and your family. Over 12 weeks, we'll navigate three key phases:
Phase 1: Building Foundations (Weeks 1-4)
Deepen your understanding of ADHD and its impact on your family dynamics. Identify your family's unique challenges and strengths. Cultivate empathy and understanding among family members. Learn effective communication strategies tailored to neurodivergent needs.

Phase 2: Unleashing Empowerment (Weeks 5-8)
Shift your focus from challenges to strengths, celebrating each family member's unique abilities.Develop practical strategies for managing daily challenges, such as homework, routines, and emotional regulation. Engage in interactive exercises and reflections to foster self-awareness and personal growth.Build a stronger sense of connection and belonging within your family.
Phase 3: Creating Success (Weeks 9-12)
Create a personalized action plan with clear, achievable goals aligned with your family's values. Implement practical strategies and routines to support positive change. Develop tools for tracking progress and celebrating successes. Build long-term resilience and create a sustainable foundation for a thriving family life.​
Each week includes a 60-75 minute focused session with me, alternating with reflective "Signpost"assignments designed to deepen your understanding and integrate new skills into your daily life.These assignments encourage family discussions and provide opportunities for practical application.
